Randstad and the Job Centre Plus/Local Employer Partnership (LEP)
Randstad have worked successfully with jobcentreplus for a number of years. In 2007 Randstad were the first recruitment agency to sign a national partnership agreement. This also included our commitment to LEP's initiative to help 250,000 people at a disadvantage in the labour market find work by the end of 2010.
LEP's provide the key to opening up talent within the local workforce, reflecting the diversity of jobcentreplus customers. Within the agreement, Randstad guarantee job opportunities for the most disadvantaged customers in return for jobcentreplus giving customers the skills employers need
As a result of our partnership, Randstad has successfully placed a number of unemployed people back into work by offering opportunities including specific recruitment practices such as work trials.
