Following Randstad’s recently announced partnership upgrade of AT&T Williams, Patrick Maloney, UK Managing Director of Randstad Staffing visited the Williams Technology Centre in the Qatar Science & Technology Park to meet with Sir Frank Williams and members of the Williams F1 team today.
Randstad is one of the leading human resource companies in the world and has been a partner of the Williams F1 team for six years. A Randstad company, teachanywhere.com works closely with international schools worldwide to place teachers who dream of locating abroad. Teachanywhere.com already has thousands of teachers working in over forty countries worldwide. Mr Maloney was joined by Diane Jacoutot, General Manager of teachanywhere.com.
Sir Frank Williams commented, “We first came to Doha three years ago to explore whether we could develop technologies in Qatar. Following extensive analysis we decided to invest in the country and established the Williams Technology Centre, Qatar in 2009. One of our commitments to our business here in Doha is to help promote both education and employment opportunities for Qataris. Therefore it is entirely appropriate to welcome Patrick and Diane from Randstad and teachanywhere.com to our Williams Technology Centre. Randstad and teachanywhere.com are world leaders in employment consultancy and in education, respectively. They will be able to help us fulfil some of our ambitions in this area in Qatar.”
Patrick Maloney added, “This is my first visit to Doha and I am overwhelmed by the investment that is being made in education. The Universities at Education City and the schools throughout Doha are all outstanding facilities. Each one of these establishments will help Qatar achieve its aim of becoming a knowledge-based economy in the coming years. In addition, the pace of economic growth here in Doha also represents outstanding opportunities for a company like Randstad as we seek to fill vital employment roles in Qatar to help contribute to the local economy.
“It is also my first time at the Williams Technology Centre. To visit this facility was a real pleasure as Williams F1 are a key partner to Randstad as the team helps to promote our business around the world. To be able to meet Sir Frank and his team was also a real privilege.”
