Health and Safety Executive required for a permanant position with a busy contractor. Kent Based, Sites across the South East. Up to £45k plus package.
Our client is a busy contractor known for their residential new build and fit out work across the South East.
They are currently looking for a Health and Safety Executive with extensive experience in developing and implementing Health, Safety and Environmental best practice, to ensure the Company complies with current health and safety legislation. They will be working proactively with managers to establish and maintain safe systems of work and a safe environment for all relevant stakeholders
Duties will include:
* Previous experience in Health and Safety at an Executive level. * Demonstrable competence in the implementation of short to medium term improvement plans * Proven leadership skills particularly in the management of change* Proactive attitude and approach. * Ability to prioritise and organise your workload.* Ability to Travel / Current Valid Driving Licence.* Ability to meet strict deadlines.* Good reporting and writing skills.* Must have effective influencing and communication skills (both written and verbal)* Must have experience of supporting line managers in discharging their health and safety responsibilities.* Previous experience in Construction. * Willing to travel.
