The government has started a crackdown on rogue employers who take advantage of vulnerable workers.

It launched a telephone helpline service and a £6 million information campaign, which it hopes will raise awareness of employment rights and how they can be enforced.

Employment relations minister Pat McFadden said: "It is vital we boost awareness of employment rights and ensure those rights are properly enforced."

He claimed workers in Britain all enjoy employment rights unheard of in the past but acknowledged there was still more to be done.

"There should be no hiding place for employers who exploit vulnerable workers and who are not prepared to obey the law."

The Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform has been working alongside the Vulnerable Workers Enforcement Forum to improve employee rights.

Any administrator or secretary looking for part time work through Randstad employment agency can rely on its support in finding professional jobs.
