Call Centre Expo to open in Birmingham

The tenth Call Centre Expo is to be held at the Birmingham NEC, it has been announced. The event will run concurrently with the Customer Management Expo, following their successful co-location last year. Organisers claim it will offer "over 300 suppliers, a comprehensive educational programme and plenty of networking opportunities". They hope to attract businesses looking to tackle challenges they face within their call centre operations. HMV is sponsoring the show's Incentive Avenue, a dedicated area for suppliers who offer incentives for call centre workers and solutions to help workplace morale. The expo will feature a Learning and Development Zone, Home Agent Showplace, and a consultancy clinic that will offer free impartial advice from industry consultancies. The government's most recent review of call centre employment found the number of jobs grew by almost nine per cent in the four years to 2005. Search for call centre jobs in Birmingham
