Plans to redevelop a former factory in Worcestershire could see hundreds of industrial jobs created in the area, according to reports.

What used to be a factory operated by British Sugar has been out of action since activities there ceased in 2002 but a redevelopment of the site could see up to 700 new job vacancies open up.

The former factory is located in Kidderminster and the company behind the plans Cill Dara is hoping to establish a business park that will require skilled individuals to carry out high-tech work.

Wyre Forest District Council leader John Campion told the BBC: "We want to make sure that people in Wyre Forest and the surrounding areas have an opportunity for the higher paid jobs to make sure we improve the lives and the conditions that people work in the district."

There are numerous other recruitment opportunities in Worcester and the surrounding area.ADNFCR-1476-ID-18695489-ADNFCR
