Mobile workers are revealing commercial sensitive data as they travel to and from work, a new study has found. According to flexible workspace provider, Regus, more than two-thirds of business travellers have heard confidential information and more than a third have seen sensitive data on other workers' laptops. "From a dangerous lack of privacy to difficult and absurd working environments, business travellers are often put in impossible positions as they try to carry out their professional role," warned UK sales director, Kurt Monz. The study claimed Londoners were most likely to take advantage of business information they overheard. Half of respondents from the capital admitted to working from the pub and 68 per cent confessed to listening in on other people's calls. The government has announced more employees can now apply for flexible working conditions. Current legislation considers part-time jobs, flexi-time, annualised hours and home working as types of flexible working.
