Randstad Care’s Cardiff branch proudly serves the South Wales and Bristol region. Our city centre branch is open from 8:30-17:30 on weekdays and is
a short two minute walk from Cardiff Queens Street train station,
making it easily accessible and convenient to visit us. If you would
like to book a registration, please call us on 02920 877510 to make an appointment.
Randstad Care in Cardiff specialises in care and support work vacancies
across Wales and Bristol in both the private and public sectors. Our
designated nursing and social work teams cover qualified care jobs in
the area, and are on hand to provide tailored career advice if you are
looking to pursue a career in one of these professions. We deal with
both temporary and permanent contracts, as well as shift work, so we can
offer a level of flexibility to suit each candidate.
We currently have a number of contracts with Local Authorities via the
Welsh Purchasing Consortium, which means that we are the sole supplier
for the majority of public sector vacancies in the area. We also have a
number of agreements in place with private and voluntary organisations,
including one of the largest housing and care companies operating in
Wales, Grŵp Gwalia Cyf, along with many residential care providers,
independent fostering agencies, and hospitals.
At a branch level, we endeavour to support jobseekers in the local area
to find the right career for them through a number of regular open days
in our office, along with events at universities, job fairs and
Jobcentres. We provide a full service to candidates, from the
registration stage to securing a temporary or permanent placement and
offering support throughout their employment. We don’t consider our job
to be finished when a placement is made, and will continue to provide
aftercare services to ensure that our candidates feel valued and
supported in their new roles.
Working in the Community
Investing in our pool of local talent is vital as a responsible
recruitment business, and at the Cardiff office we work closely with
local jobcentres and hold regular open days where we hold CV workshops.
We also ensure that our candidates are able to develop professionally
and further their careers by providing a wide range of training sessions
at no cost to our candidates.
Randstad as a company has paired up with the children’s charity Variety
which provides support to disabled children and their families, and the
Cardiff branch is taking the lead in organising fundraising activities
and raising awareness of the charity. Lauren Thomas is our champion for
Variety fundraising, and has so far been responsible for organising a
number of events across the company and we’re off to a great start so
far in terms of the money we have raised for this fantastic cause. As an
office, we have also taken part in events such as fun runs to raise
money for charity. This year, Keri Evans from our Key Accounts team is
running the Cardiff Half Marathon in October to raise money for Variety.
We at the Cardiff office pride ourselves on our fancy dress, and we
also hold regular costume contests and themed dress-down days in the
office to raise money for good causes.

"This is to testify that l have known Rhian for the period of 5 years. From 2010 to date as my manager at Danybryn Nursing home in Radyr in Cardiff City and as my manager/consultant for Randstad Care LTD. Below is the way l have found my work relationship with Rhian:
1. Approachability: Rhian is very approachable and easy to access in time of need. She always wears a smile on her face, an attribute that l find very encouraging as the worker for Randstad. I feel accepted and relaxed when talking to her.
2. Flexibility: Rhian is flexible and will always explain issues to me in a manner that gives room for flexibility and will always ask my views on issues under discussion.
3. Respectability: Rhian has always treats me with due respect at all times.
4. Confidentiality: Rhian has always maintained confidentiality when talking to me about issues related to my work by discussing such matters in an office away from the eyes of the public. It is something that l cherish.
5 Support: Rhian has always supported me in my work and discussed issues amicably and l felt encouraged when l have spoken to her. Rhian has provided me with material support such uniforms as part of my professional responsibility as l do represent Randstad Care LTD wherever l go and work.
Concluding remarks: I find working for Randstad under Rhian very enjoyable and above all l am assured of shifts any time l need them." - Mandayachepa Nyando
