Branch Specialities

The Randstad Education office in Chester covers over 300 schools within our three key local authorities; Cheshire West and Chester, Flintshire and Wrexham. Our Chester office was established in early 2012, with Randstad Education having previously worked for many years with schools in the area, from one of our other locations. The office was created following high demand from our schools for good quality staff and for an equally as good service from Randstad Education as their recruitment partner. We constantly receive good feedback from our schools with one head teacher commenting recently that the quality of candidates and the service they receive from us is poles apart from their previous supplier!

We are experts in the area of education recruitment and all of our staff have personal experience within education, be it as teachers or coming from teaching families. One member of our team is also on the board of governors at a primary school in a neighbouring local authority. This adds to the depth of knowledge that we have within education and also enables us to foster good links with other schools and head teachers in the area. We truly are experts in our field.

We are actively seeking primary and secondary teachers as well support professionals to join us in helping support local schools in areas such as Cheshire West & Chester, Flintshire and Wrexham. If you have the skills and commitment to join us, please contact us to see how we can support you in your next career move.

Working in the Community

Randstad Education’s Chester office is always keen to work in the community and to give something back to the schools that we work with. We have previously been involved in sponsoring a swimming team for a season, which made a ‘big splash’ with the children involved. This then generated lots of additional media coverage for the swim team and attracted new members! We have also worked with one of Cheshire West’s primary schools who held a memory day. During this we were involved in all aspects of the day and spent a lot of time making teas, coffees and juice for parents and staff.

We are also regularly involved in events within schools such as business and enterprise within secondary schools and also careers fairs and young enterprise events where we talk to children about their aspirations for the future and discuss what they would need to do to get there. We also run regular competitions with our schools such as our recent poetry competition where pupils could submit their poems and could win book tokens for their school. These competitions are normally run on a seasonal basis with competitions at key points of the year such as Christmas, Easter and summer. This gives us a great opportunity to give something back to the schools and children that we work with on a daily basis.

We are exceptionally proud of the good relationships that we have with our candidates and schools and continually strive to find ways to work in partnership and give something back to the local community.

Candidate Testimonials

"Randstad have always come up trumps with my placements. Always. I have worked for Randstad more than any other teaching agency over the last four years, and in that time, whilst others have promised placements, Randstad have delivered. Informed, dedicated and professional - that has been my experience."
Paul, Secondary English Teacher. March 2017

"I have been working for Randstad Chester since May 2016. I made a complete career change after being a different industry for 20 years.  I was a little apprehensive of going into supply due to the indefinite hours of work. However, the work has been constant where I may have still been unemployed if I had just applied for permanent positions. My agent, Sean is very friendly and considerate to finding me work close to home. I  honestly would recommend supply as it really is a fantastic route into teaching and am very happy with this agency. "
Amanda, Primary Teaching Assistant March 2017

"I find all the staff at Randstad really friendly and helpful.  They also show an awareness of my dependence on public transport and provide work in areas which usually have a regular bus or train service.  The administrative team are similarly supportive and efficient.  The bookings I have received so far have been in well-run schools with highly-trained staff who have supplied good teaching materials and clear instructions.  Randstad's pay structures are also fair and do not include any extra agency charges.  Thank you to you all for finding me new employment in new areas - long may it last!"
Anna, Early Years Support Worker, March 2017

“Thank you again for last year it was fantastic.”
