Working in the Community
Your local Randstad Education team are exceptionally keen on giving back to the community. Each team member sits on a school governing board providing insight and support into many of the challenges our schools face.
We also work closely with many local educational providers in our spare time. We provide them with our experience and knowledge and also support with the training of their students. This takes many forms including CV workshops, interview training and offering work experience within our own office.
We also liaise regularly with local schools to provide additional services that would be difficult to source elsewhere. This can range from working with small groups of students on aspirational focus to engaging with many schools on careers events.
"I am very happy with the very good support from you both and the cheerful way that you operate the service."
"When I first contacted Louise Richards and Louise Corry at Randstad
Hull, I had been out of work for 18 months after being made redundant as
I went on Maternity Leave. I had decided to take some time out to look
after my Son but was now ready to return to work. Coming from a
Commercial background but having recently started my Teaching Assistant
qualification, I was looking for work in a Support type role within a
school or educational environment.
Louise Richards called me in for an interview and she put me at ease,
extracting all the information she needed that I hadn't included on my
CV. She put my CV forward for a role and after interview I started my a
role as a Learning Support Advisor for a training provider in Hull.
Louise is always just a phone call away if I need her, and I feel I can
pop in to see them with query I may have and they are always quick to
ring me on Monday morning if I haven't emailed my hours from the
previous week, to avoid a delay in payroll.
I have been extremely happy with the efficient service and support I
receive, not only from Louise Richards, but from any other member of
staff that I have dealt with if she has been unavailable.
I would be happy to recommend them to anyone seeking employment in
this field and look forward to transferring to my new role with Hull
College in September with them."
I am a primary school teacher and opted to take early retirement 4 years ago. Initially I worked supply only in the school at which I had been teaching but a change in staffing structure meant I had to find additional work with an agency. I sent my CV to 3 agencies and Randstad responded immediately which I found impressive.
I have worked closely with Louise for nearly 2 years and can honestly say it has been a pleasure, not only am I constantly in work I receive feedback all the time from my school placements.Louise is able to allocate me to schools where I have had a really positive experience as she is intuitive to the needs of both the teacher and the school.
I am constantly supported in all the placements by Louise , so much so that I only work for Randstad and no other agency as I feel sure I would not find the same level of support offered.
I look forward to a long and happy working relationship with both Randstad and Louise in particular
Over the past three years we have worked closely with Randstad Education in order to respond to the staffing challenges the college experienced during special measures.
Louise Corry and the team at Randstad took time to understand the ethos of the school and our expectations of the quality we demand from staff supplied by recruitment agencies. During this time Randstad supplied us with noticeably higher quality staff than other agencies, some of which are now employed full time within the college. I believe this is a direct result of their own selection and recruitment processes and their commitment to finding and developing good quality staff.
On the odd occasions that Randstad could not meet a specific request Louise would say so rather than send a colleague who would not be suitable. I appreciated this transparent approach and continue to use Randstad as a priority to this day.
