Liverpool Office has been recruiting education staff at all levels across Merseyside since 1993, formerly being known as Select Education, offering a uniquely personal and expert service. We are an award-winning office within Randstad and have won several accolades at the annual conferences over the years such as Office of the Year, Manager of the Year, and several Consultant of the Year awards. We are an extremely busy office, working with six local authorities in our local area, Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton, Wirral, St Helens and West Lancashire.
Within these areas we work with over 1000 educational establishments such as primary, secondary and SEN schools, pupil referral units, FE colleges, private day nurseries, children’s centres, and also work with various local authority departments and schemes. These establishments recruit for a wide range of roles, including teachers, instructors, lecturers, cover supervisors, teaching assistants, SEN support staff, one to one tutors and interventions specialists, nursery nurses, nursery assistants, invigilators, bursars, school administrators and caretakers. Our consultants are very long-serving members of staff and are experienced in the education field. If you have the experience and the commitment to join the UK's number one education recruiter then please get in touch with one of our consultants who would be happy to talk you through any current vacancies!
Working in the Community
Randstad Education Liverpool has always maintained strong links with the school communities we serve and is proud to have a reputation within the local market for being friendly and supportive. Over the years we have enjoyed giving something back to the schools that use our services through various methods. For many years we sponsored a Special Educational Needs Sportshall Athletics Day for schools across Merseyside to take part in which appeared on Granada Television.
We sponsored a new kitchen in one of our client schools to enable them to obtain Healthy School status, and also worked with the Police Community Clubs of Great Britain and Liverpool Football Club to sponsor books for schools across Liverpool on subjects such as racism, drugs and bullying. Our consultants often get involved in school life by accompanying classes on school trips, attending open days and fairs, taking assemblies, and offering workshops on a wide range of subjects such as the environment, business and enterprise, and drama workshops focusing on emotions and feelings for children with additional needs.
Competitions are organised across our Local Authorities to design cards and posters for various events and celebrations. We also donate selection boxes every year for each child within the SEN provision of one of our Local Authorities, and partake in fundraising events for charities such as Children in Need and Barnardo’s. Two of our consultants are actively involved in their surrounding communities through being Governors at their local schools. We are proud of the rapport our consultants share with their client schools and think that these close working relationships, where we work as a partner and not just a supplier, can only benefit our candidates in finding the right schools for them.
"I have been working for Randstad Education for nearly 3 years now. It really is the best agency to work for and all the teachers I meet in schools agree with me. They are professional and dedicated to finding you work in a school that suits your needs."
"I have worked with Randstad Education for four years and I have found them to be professional, helpful and supportive and I would be happy to recommend them to anyone. They are amazing!"

"I have worked for Randstad Education for nearly 4 years. Out of all of the agencies that I have worked for Randstad is the one that I recommend to other teachers that I meet. The reasons are simple: they are the only agency where the teacher is kept up to date, knows his rate of pay without having to ask and works for schools based on how well they can teach and not on how cheap they are. You know where you are with Randstad and they repay it with loyalty. It is refreshing to deal with open and honest people, which is what you get always from Randstad."
John - DT Teacher
"I have found Randstad Education runs a very professional and efficient service aiming to match both school with supply appropriately and respectfully. Randstad Education staff seem to know and value their customers in appointing/finding suitable placements in local schools. It is comforting to arrive at a school which welcomes you - following the preparations/appointments that Randstad have initiated."
Celina – English Teacher
To all of the staff at Randstad Education Liverpool, just a quick thank you to say how much I have enjoyed working for Randstad! I can’t say I have enjoyed the 7.30am phone calls, but hearing your wide awake voices has certainly made it easier! I am so grateful for all of the work you have given me over the years. Without Randstad I would not be in the school I love working in. Thanks again and I will miss all of your friendly chats.
