The Randstad Education office in Cheshire covers over 300 schools within our key local authorities; Cheshire West & East, Halton, Warrington, St Helens, Tameside & Trafford. Our Cheshire office has been established for over 12 years and has an excellent reputation in the marketplace. The office was created following high demand from our schools for good quality staff and for an equally as good service from Randstad Education as their recruitment partner. We constantly receive good feedback from our schools with one head teacher commenting recently that the quality of candidates and the service they receive from us is poles apart from their previous supplier!
We are experts in the area of education recruitment and all of our staff have personal experience within education, be it as teachers or coming from teaching families. One member of our team is also on the board of governors at a primary school in a neighbouring local authority. This adds to the depth of knowledge that we have within education and also enables us to foster good links with other schools and head teachers in the area. We truly are experts in our field.
We are actively seeking primary and secondary teachers as well support professionals to join us in helping support local schools in all of our local authorities. If you have the skills and commitment to join us, please contact us to see how we can support you in your next career move.
Working in the Community
Randstad Education’s Warrington office is always keen to work in the community and to give something back to the schools that we work with. We have previously been involved in sponsoring a swimming team for a season, which made a ‘big splash’ with the children involved. This then generated lots of additional media coverage for the swim team and attracted new members!
We are also regularly involved in events within schools such as business and enterprise within secondary schools and also careers fairs and young enterprise events where we talk to children about their aspirations for the future and discuss what they would need to do to get there. We also run regular competitions with our schools such as our recent poetry competition where pupils could submit their poems and could win book tokens for their school. These competitions are normally run on a seasonal basis with competitions at key points of the year such as Christmas, Easter and summer. This gives us a great opportunity to give something back to the schools and children that we work with on a daily basis.
We are exceptionally proud of the good relationships that we have with our candidates and schools and continually strive to find ways to work in partnership and give something back to the local community.
"I had been really struggling to find supply work with other agencies after completing my PGCE, however I joined Randstad less than a month ago, and since then I have not looked back!
The team in Warrington are exceptional in finding work that is specific to you, in terms of your skills, experience and location, as well as being supportive and professional throughout.
My greatest thanks go to Emma Austin, who has been absolutely fantastic (not to mention extremely efficient!) in finding perfect roles. Her positivity and enthusiasm are second to none, and she is a pleasure to work with."

“Farnworth CE Primary School has been using the services of Randstad Education for over eleven years and I personally have been involved with the company for virtually nine of those years.
Over this time I have always found the staff extremely professional, helpful and caring for our organisation. Over the years I have developed close links with the Primary Desk Officer who has changed a few times but each and every one has been a pleasure to liaise with. Currently within our local branch within Randstad Warrington, my link officer is Craig Rogers. Craig has been exceptional in his management of supply for Farnworth CE Primary and has always gone over and above trying to source the right candidate for the position and for the school.
I have personally enjoyed working with Craig and have always been very happy with the cover that he has provided. I am confident that when I do contact the office, I get an immediate make and I find him to be extremely cheerful, personable and specialised at all times”.

"Over the last two years, I have been the School and Community manager at Wilmslow High School and on a daily basis, part of my role has been to arrange ‘cover’ for those teachers absent from school.
During that time, I am delighted to be able to say that whenever I have had cause to request help in finding a supply teacher, Emma Austin at Ranstad has been an extremely professional, efficient and courteous Secondary Education Consultant, who has never failed to provide the appropriate supply teacher.
I would recommend her without reservation."

"I have been the Business Director here at Christleton High School since January 2015 and during that time, I have worked with Emma Austin at Randstad Education.
I would describe Emma as friendly, personable, and extremely professional. Emma has provided me with some very good staff and the speed of response has always been prompt and efficient.
Emma has been honest and open in her communications (even when the news to be conveyed may have been more difficult in their nature) and I feel that I am able to trust her judgement with my recruitment and supply requirements. Emma is happy to tailor recruitment packages around Christleton High School, its needs and values and, because of that, we will continue to utilise her services.
I would happily recommend Emma at Randstad Education, who has always been willing to go above and beyond to find excellently matched candidates for our school."

"I have been the Cover Manager here at Tytherington High School for the past 7 years and this will be the second year I have worked with Emma Austin from Randstad Education and the one word I would use to describe Emma is ‘Outstanding’. I can unreservedly say that she is one of the best consultants I have worked with.
Emma is always extremely professional and honest in all communication and I trust her with our recruitment requirements completely. If you are looking for a recruitment consultant who will do everything in her power to get the right person for your school then I cannot recommend Emma highly enough."

"I have recently used Randstad to gain employment as a supply teacher. Laura and the team at Randstad helped to find a suitable position for me very quickly. They were very friendly, efficient, professional and dealt with any problems that arose during my term of employment. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Randstad to other education staff looking for work."
Mr R, Secondary Teacher, October 2016
"I would just like to let you know that I am really pleased with the service you and Randstad have provided at the beginning of this academic year. Without your flexibility and personal touch to meet our students’ needs the successful transition would not have been possible.
Your organisation skills providing the required legal documents for staff to tutor on site, the quick and effective turnaround you work with only enhances a great partnership.
Thank you for your commitment and dedication to our school and students."
Pastoral Manager & DSP - Futuretech Studio School, Warrington, October 2016
“Laura has been a great asset to the team at Randstad. Her happy go lucky personality makes you feel instantly at ease. From the moment I met her she was extremely helpful to me. She knew exactly what I wanted to do and where I wanted my career to go and she did everything in her power to get me there. Even when there was nothing available Laura kept in contact with me and keeps me updated on what was going on. Laura is fantastic at her job and I would definitely recommend Randstad to anyone looking at a career in teaching."
Miss P, Warrington, October 2016
"Playing to my strengths and matching me to jobs. Practising safely with safeguarding at the forefront and not prioritising the money. A listening ear and fun banter for lone workers."
Miss H, SEN Tutor, Warrington
“I am really pleased with the service we receive from Randstad. Randstad provide us with tutors, cover supervisors and teachers at different levels of experience. The costs are very competitive and Randstad provide useful excel spreadsheets which lists who have worked in a given week. This makes checking invoices and month end easier. In addition the staff that Randstad have provided have been at a very high level”.
