Account Director - Hard Services FM Provider - Major British Landmark - City of London - 75K

Unique opportunity to work at a major British landmark!!

One of the leading FM providers is looking for an Account Director to lead and manage a large and complex building and estate based in the City of London.

The role of the Account Director is to manage all aspects relating to the successful management of the building and estate and deliver profitability in a professional and safe manner. It is a totally unique building that requires a high level of attention.

This will include full management of the facilities team, covering predominantly hard but also soft services, and making sure they are delivering the operational requirements as per the contract.

Reporting into the Operations Director, one of the key roles of the Account Director is to work with the Senior Team and other managers in driving continuous improvement in to the Contract and delivering a quality service to the client.

The main duties of the role are as follows:

* Full responsibility for all aspects of the account.
* Management and leadership of the account staff.
* Compliance with all aspect of the contract and company processes and procedures.
* Ownership of commercial aspect of account, with the assistance of the Commercial Manager.
* Establish, participate and maintain a full and diverse range of stakeholder relationships with tenants, leaseholders and other local authorities.
* Attend and manage all aspects of events and participate in the preparation of the planning.
* Ensure resources are in place in accordance with event day plans.
* Projects, Manage all projects from inception, procurement and through to completion.
* Manage the KPI process, ensure all steps are taken to ensure penalties are not levied and mitigation steps are taken.
* Manage the Close Call & Positive Intervention; accidents and incidents process.
* Ensure all are reported to the correct authorities and the required Action Plans are prepared and executed to time.

The package for the role is as follows:

* Salary 75k
* Car or allowance

Applicants for this role must be able to meet the following criteria:

* Electrically or mechanically qualified to recognised standard, ideally Degree (not essential but preferable)
* Strong technical understanding.
* Experience of dealing with hard and soft services including security and events management.
* Proven background in commercial facilities managing hard and soft services.
* Experience of managing large estates.
* Experience of dealing with local authorities; council, police, etc.
* Hard and soft services experience.
* Experience of working on CAFM systems.
* Strong health and safety knowledge
