Account Manager - Covering North of England & Scotland.

Monday-Friday 9am - 5pm - 37.5 hours

£25,000 - £40,000 DOE + Bonus structure + car/car allowance.

A market leader in the technology industry, specialising in the provision of computerised and manual tracking, traceability and quality audit trail systems to the NHS and private Hospitals is looking for an Account Manager to look after existing clientele covering the whole of the North of England & Scotland.

This role is home and field based.

You will be required to manage your own diary and book your own appointment to help with your Account Management and your Business Development.

Other responsibilities will be:



* To develop and secure new business in the North of England & Scotland.
* Booking your own appointments for prospect business meetings
* Managing your own time as efficiently as possible to get the highest return
* To achieve sales targets defined within the key business performance indicators
* To provide Account Manager support to existing clients by going out to visit them face to face for service reviews
* Contribute to the development of computer system solutions through the appropriate product development panel
* To research and understand market needs identifying new business opportunities
* When required, provide computer system training for customers and company staff
* To build and maintain existing and potential customer contact details
* Complete the company's standard administrative documentation within the agreed timescales
* Set specific, measurable, achievable and realistic targets for personal development

Experience Required:



* A minimum of 2 year's experience in the Health Service Industry or in a similar role

OR



* A minimum of 2 years business development experience
* Good IT skills and understanding
* Exceptional verbal and written communication is essential
* You must be flexible with potentially staying away from home when required

This is a fantastic role for an experienced Account Manager who ideally has experience within the medical/ health sector. The interview will be two stages and the successful Account Manager will then start shortly after.
