job description

Savvy when it comes to sales? On top of your game when it comes to exceeding targets? An articulate account manager? If so this could be the role for you!

Purpose

As an account manger you will be tasked with the generation of sales within the UK end user market. Utilising the current database of lapsed and prospective businesses

Responsibilities



* Responsible for the performance and development of a geographical area within the UK (Scotland) end user market
* Development of existing accounts by building relationships and site visits
* Responsible for the development of your area through bringing on board new customers through prospecting and cold calling
* Attains sales goals and profitability through following the UK end user sales strategy
* Dedicated account management, end to end; from initial sales contract review of orders to dispatch
* Liaison within sales administrator
* Maintain discipline, focus and drive within the UK sales team and the company
* Reporting to the UK sales manager in a timely manner on the performance of your area
* To complete daily KPI's and call plans for the UK Sales manager
* To develop the sales areas through arranging and completing on site customer visits
* To develop the sales areas through arranging and completing off site visits at the customers potential locations
* Hit and exceed KPI's and realistic targets

About you?



* Previous sales and account management experience (essential)
* Knowledge of the fastening industry (desirable)
* Working within the engineering or manufacturing industry (desirable)
* Proven ability to maximise and develop accounts
* Education to GCSE level with excellent Maths & English capabilities
* Full UK driving License (essential)
* Money motivated
* Ability to manager and lead high profile visits with customers
* Ability to liaise with senior buyers/engineers
* Excellent interpersonal skills, naturally able to build rapport
* Ability to use initiative and make key decisions
* Honesty and integrity
* Proven ability to work towards targets
