ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT REQUIRED URGENTLY

Our client is one of the UK's leading construction companies. We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our Central Finance team based in Hertfordshire. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, ambitious and meticulous individual with a keen interest in Finance

Project Work including;

Designing, documenting & Implementing processes relating to banking GovernanceAdministration and Governance of Banking including;Payments of foreign currency and requesting FX Hedges when appropriateOpening, management and closing of Skanska and JV bank accountsCash Forecasting in OpusOwnership of the Central Bank Reconciliation Summary (CBRS)Operating Unit (OU) & Business Unit (BU) Recharges and dealing with queriesFixed Asset reconciliations, National Statistics, VAT & PSA Return supportReconciliation of other specific Central Balance Sheet accountsReconciliation and management of the BU's Apprenticeship levyMonth end upload of the Central Balance Sheet

Qualifications

Studying Accountancy Qualification eg ACCA, CIMA, ACT or equivalent by experience.Strong knowledge of excel and word Good communication and writing skills
