job description

Do you have experience within the acoustic or noise and vibration sector? Feeling a bit stale in your current role and looking for a new challenge, then read on...

My client is looking for someone to join their team to work on high profile infrastructure and building projects, whilst also having the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the development of the acoustic business.

The main focus of the role will be within the area of construction, though work may also include other environmental acoustic related disciplines. Applicants must be ready to take responsibility for the project management of technical/consultancy projects, or provide specialist input to support Project Managers to ensure noise and vibration deliverables are understood and carried out to an agreed programme and standard, whilst maintaining strong client relationships, optimising opportunities and profit and ensuring compliance with the company management system.

Tasks and responsibilities may include:

* planning, preparation and production of technical surveys, testing, modelling analysis, interpretation, assessment and report writing and technical review of surveys and reports, in respect of relevant standards and guidance.
* Attend and input as a technical specialist into project meetings (internal and external)
* Maintain control of costs and manage commercial and contractual aspects of projects (with assistance).
* Act as client main point of contact and focus on ensuring client satisfaction by building and maintaining strong client and brand loyalty and client networks.
* Provide mentoring to less experienced colleagues.
