Administrator - Bradley Stoke - Permanent

Do you have a strong administration background? Wanting to work in enjoyable construction industry? Want to work in a team who truly help each other out? Want to work for a company who will actually offer progression?

Location: Bradley Stoke, Bristol

Responsibilities:



* Processing pay runs which occur twice a month. Starting with pulling relevant invoices out and filing away
* Pressing subcontractor account set-ups and saving on the system
* Weekly insurance chases
* Maintaining and updating the address spreadsheet
* Dealing with statements where there are overdue invoices
* Preparation of the valuation pack on a monthly basis
* Keeping control of files within roller racking and archive centre
* Processing retention release and CITB
* Cert & batching of payments
* Filing
* Sorting out daily post
* Assisting surveyors with tender letters and tender disks
* Scanning in documents when requested
* Reception cover 1 hour a week and if needed on an adhoc basis
* Responding to email or phone queries from internal and external customers
* Logging all customer care invoices on the system
* Logging agency invoices on a weekly basis
* Printing weekly reports for the Commercial Manager
* Keep on top of stationery orders
* Arranging rotations for new members of staff within the office
* Assist the Commercial Assistant and Commercial Manager when required

Requirements:



* Strong office administration experience, minimum 2 years
* Experience processing invoices for payment, VAT payments and reconciliations Excel, Outlook, PDF
* Experience within a Commercial or Procurement department would be highly desirable
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Excellent telephone manner
* Pro-active individual
* A key team player
* Strong organisation skills
* Able to prioritise fluctuating workloads
* Driven to deliver to tight deadlines

* Well organised, diplomatic, proactive, assertive and well-disciplined
* Excellent customer service, communication and client/external interface skills
* Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal.
* A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering to deadlines
