Are you an experienced administrator looking for immediate temporary work until the end of this year, possible March 2020? Do you have experience of providing general administrative support to a busy team, and on occasion taking calls from the general public or customers? Are you able to remain clam when dealing with a variety of tasks and still manage to prioritise your workload? If you have answered yes to these questions, then please read on and apply/call me as this could be an ideal opportunity for you.

I am looking for 2 experienced administrators to work for my client based in the heart of Winchester. You will be working in a busy team on a full time, temporary basis until the end of this year, possible up to March 2020. You will be working 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4.30pm Friday with a 1 hour lunch break. This is a full time temporary position, and you will be required to work all of the hours advertised.

As an administrator, you will be providing general clerical and administrative support within the parking services team, specifically in connection with permit issue and penalty charge notices. On a day to day basis you will be;
*Effectively use the parking IT systems and other office systems and software to process all relevant correspondence, statutory notices and forms in accordance with the requirements of the legislation and Council policy and in an efficient and timely manner.
*Consider and respond to challenges against parking Penalty Charge Notices in accordance with the requirements of the Traffic Management Act 2004 and other legislation.
*Process season ticket, smartcard and parking permit and other applications in accordance with agreed policies and in an efficient and timely manner.
*Adopt a pro-active approach to ensuring that permits are only issued to bona fide residents/businesses and to the prevention of permit fraud.
*Deal effectively with enquiries by telephone, letter and face to face when providing reception services.
*Ensure all incoming post is dealt with in the correct manner and given to the relevant staff to deal with making sure all documents are scanned, recorded and filed in an efficient way.
*Provide a high quality standard of customer care within the administration team.
*Provide other general administrative support as required.

Key skills and experience required;
*Good IT skills
*Able to record accurate information whilst having a conversation with the customer
*Minimum of 1 to 2 years of working in an administrative job with some customer facing experience
*Experience of using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers through any contact channel
*Able to gain information from customers to ensure enquiries are dealt with appropriately and to provide clear, confident explanations to customers and colleagues
*Experience of taking and processing payments
*Previous experience of working in a busy administrative team and deliver outstanding customer excellence
