A Mainstream Primary School in Bradford is currently recruiting an administrator to join them on a contract basis until at least December 2018. The role will be embedded within the office team, and will be a supportive, relied upon role to ensure the smooth running of the school's administration on a daily basis.

The role will consist of, but not be exhaustive of the following:

* To support the Schools commitment to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare at a level appropriate to this role
* Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to health and safety, security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to the appropriate person
* Any other duties commensurate with the role as agreed with the Headteacher
* Responsible for the use, updating and maintenance of schools information management systems
* Supporting the Headteacher in the collation and production of assessment data for analysis
* Support the Headteacher in producing statistical information as required
* Act as the first point of contact for the school, greeting visitors, ensuring security processes are in place and followed and providing hospitality as appropriate
* Processing of orders as instructed by authorised mangers within the school
* Responsible for the upkeep of the school diary and that of the Headteacher as appropriate
* To provide the administrative support for the organisation of school trips and events, to include, for example, the collection of contributions and coach bookings
* Maintaining the Register for annual licenses reviews, ensuring renewal and negotiations where appropriate.

The successful candidate needs to be:

* Experienced within a school setting previously
* Able to prioritise workload
* Adaptable and reliable and able to communicate effectively with staff, pupils, parents and agencies in an appropriate manner
* Able to reflect on own performance
* Understanding of the needs of children and able to communicate effectively with them when need be
