Randstad CPE currently has an immediate requirement for a M&E Engineer. Due to the awarding of new contracts, our client, a leading Principal Contractor operating within the Rail Industry is seeking to employ someone with E&P or M&E background to be based in Manchester to get involved on major projects on a freelance basis along with long term work.

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Running and implementing contracts, go between site and Project Manager
* Monitoring budgets to ensure all legitimate contract costs are recovered
* Preparing for and attend project reviews
* Maintaining a flexible approach in dealing with both internal and external client.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

* Candidates will have a good knowledge of M&E or E&P preferably with TFL and/or Network Rail experience.
* Experience of commercial projects, civils works, heating and ventilation and high voltage works would be advantageous.
* You will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to manage projects and meet tight deadlines and should have the ability to coordinate bids.
* Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience is needed but not essential
