Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Location: Cardiff

Responsibilities:

* Produce commercial reports both internally and external to the company
* Ensure the timely receipt of quotations for materials, equipment and Sub-subcontract works, undertake commercial assessment of quotes received and ensure the timely placement of orders on commercially advantageous terms to facilitate project delivery and ensure business objectives are met.
* Regularly complete on site measurements/ take off's
* Ensure all contractual processes are completed on time

Requirements:

* Quantity Surveying degree or a similar construction related qualification with extensive technical delivery experience in a similar role.
* CSCS Card

* Well organised, diplomatic, proactive, assertive and well-disciplined
* Excellent customer service, communication and client/external interface skills
* Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal.
* A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering to deadlines.
