The main focus of this setting is to make sure the children are well cared for by providing the best possible care and education within the day to day routine. They have already achieved "good" in their Ofsted reports and are looking to improve on that with your leadership. This role will be challenging and requires someone with tenacity and experience to lead an established team in the right direction. There are excellent facilities available and support from the owner. She has a background in childcare so she understands the day to day needs of the children and the nursery staff.

* Cache level 3 Nursery Nurse or equivalent
* Minimum 1 years experience in a nursery management role
* Have an approachable management style
* Ability to manage staff fairly
* Experience in building business plans and budgeting
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience in customer attraction
* Energy and keenness to inspire young minds
* Genuine interest in good practice and current knowledge of Safeguarding requirements

Day to day responsibilities

* Daily management of nursery staff, including training, absence management and wages
* Ensure safeguarding policy is applied at all time
* Step into nursery rooms when needed (this is a supernumerary position)
* Interaction with parents to ensure client satisfaction and children are happy
* Adapt and ensure daily running of the nursery happens smoothly and to the highest standards
* Ensure that meals are healthy and nutritional and served safely
* Ensure learning journals and key learning stages are met
