Azure Cloud Migration Engineer

I am currently looking for an experienced Cloud Migration, Test and Optimisation Engineer with a strong background working with Azure. The main focus of this role will involve migrating, testing/optimising applications, databases and infrastructure pre and post migration from an On Premises Data centre to the cloud. You will be working closely with the DevOps team and 3rd party vendors to ensure all migrated applications are system tested and optimised.

Experience and Skill requirements:

* 4 or more years of experience migrating, testing and optimising with Azure
* 5 Years experience managing Windows Server
* Deployment of web and service - based applications in Windows/ Liunx environments
* Working knowledge of Ansible, Chef and/or Puppet
* Writing effective PowerShell scripts
* Experience with JavaScript Frameworks (Angular)
* Familiar with React or Angular and a general understanding of Microservices such as Docker or Kubernetes
* Working knowledge of firewalls, IP networking, VPN's, DNS and load balancing
* General understanding of CMS applications, .Net Framework and/or .Net Core
