My client is seeking a Senior Site Engineer. The organisation is a high profile regional midlands main building contractor who has a reputation in delivering high quality schemes ranging from £15M to £80M in value. The company carry out work across all sectors; however, their reputation is strong in the sectors of Health, Distribution, Leisure, Commercial, Education, Retail & Multiroom.

The company undertakes an array of Design & Build projects from Education, Student Accommodation, Office Developments and large Industrial Schemes.

They are seeking a Senior Site Engineer with a Building background to work on multiple building projects in Leicester.

Experience in any of the following key sectors would be an advantage: commercial, Student Accommodation & education.

Duties will include the following:

* Setting out levelling and surveying the site.
* Checking drawings and quantities and ensuring that the calculations are accurate.
* Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant for use in the construction.
* Associated with planning the work and efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
* Associated with day-to-day management of the site, including the site labour force and monitoring the work of any subcontractors.
* Overseeing quality control and safety matters on the site.
* Maintaining excellent and effective working relationships with the customer and his representations/advisors.
* Implementing company strategy and policies for sustainability, Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental, Training and Development.
* Ensuring that the project works to comply with the requirements of the contract specification and drawings and maintaining accurate records.
