Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge? Do you enjoy supporting young people with additional needs?

An 'Outstanding' Special Needs school in Nottingham are currently seeking a Male Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with one of their male students.

This SEN school which is situated in the centre of Nottingham caters for pupils aged 4-19 who are on the Autistic Spectrum and have a range of abilities. All pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan or a Statement of Special Educational Needs.

This role will be working 1:1 with a Year 7 student both inside and outside of the classroom. This is a full time ongoing role to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities will include:

* Work 1:1 with a Male student to help keep them engaged in learning
* Helping to reintegrate the student back into full time education
* Providing general classroom and behaviour support across the school
* Working proactively with other team members

For this role, the school require the right candidate to have:

* Experience of working within a similar environment
* Experience of supporting young people with SEN and Behavioural difficulties
* Be proactive and be able to work independently
* Creative, proactive and flexible in their supporting style
