Our client, a leading energy company, is looking for a group of friendly and outgoing individuals to join them in their office in Uddingston, providing first class service to their customers.


To identify and understand customer needs, delivering a market leading customer service to increase the profitability of the business and remaining committed to treating customers fairly

In this role you will:

* Identify and understand customer needs in order to provide a consistently high quality service and effectively cross-sell products and services to enhance the customer experience and increase their retention
* Create a safe environment with the aim of achieving a zero incident work space and ensuring that teams take responsibility for themselves and each other
* Follow clear instructions and guidelines to investigate, resolve and process high volume customer enquiries to deliver customer value at first point of contact
* Investigate and resolve routine customer complaints to ensure delivery of an efficient and effective service to the customer; escalate any queries or complaints to the relevant team to ensure they are handled and resolved in a timely manner
* Provide accurate information on products and services to ensure consistency across the organisation and provide a reliable and trustworthy customer service
* Identify any operational and regulatory risks, escalating as appropriate
* Operate customer related information systems to the required standard to maintain accurate and secure records.
* Understand and adhere to the company and department standards, policies and procedures
* Adhere to the Competence and Training procedures, in particular, to promote a culture where customers are treated fairly and are properly informed

You will have:

* A genuine passion for delivering Service Excellence; focused on delivering internal and external customer satisfaction
* Effective customer relationship skills
* Ability to communicate with customers via different mediums including exemplary written and verbal communication
* Confidence and creditability with the ability to articulate in a clear and concise manner
* Remain composed and professional when dealing with challenging customers
* Attention to detail and ability to focus on the task at hand without being distracted
* Adaptable to change, and flexible in acquiring new skills, in order to meet customer demand for new channels (e.g. digital), products and services
