Are you an experienced Staff Nurse looking for a permanent role with a leading care provider in the North East? Do you want to work with an organisation who's goal is to set themselves apart by creating a vibrant, fulfilling and stimulating culture throughout their homes? If so, I am working with a private organisation in the Wallsend area of Newcastle Upon Tyne that require a Staff Nurse with experience in Elderly Care, Dementia and EMI Nursing to join their established team.

As the Staff Nurse on shift, you will be responsible for the delivery of high quality clinical care to residents with both physical and mental needs. You will also be responsible for alerting senior management, GP's and Hospitals if there is a change to one of the residents health or you are concerned about anything within the home.

Hours of work are: 3/4 Night shifts per week depending on availability.
Shift pattern: 8pm-8am (1 hour break)

This home has free parking, access to local public transport and local shops and amenities.

As a Staff Nurse you will be responsible for:
* Administering medication to residents within the required time scales
* Changing dressings/ assisting care assistants
* Completing daily observations/notes
* Updating care plans
* Using the unit's system to record data and manage appointments for residents

To be successful in this role you must demonstrate:
* An understanding of the role required from a Nurse in a home environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication
* Ability to work well as part of a team and take the lead when needed.

The minimum requirements for this role are:
- NMC registered
- Nursing qualification (Mental Health, General or Learning Disabilities)
