Are you a nursery room manager based in Oxford?

* Are you a qualified Nursery Room Manager looking for that next step in your career?

If the answers to the above questions are yes a national nursery chain is recruiting a Senior Room Manager for one of their Nurseries in Oxford. You must be minimum Level 3 qualified with appropriate room manager experience as the nursery want the person who takes this position to eventually take on management responsibilities.

You must have excellent knowledge of the EYFS and be comfortable leading a strong team of assistants, nurses and apprentices.

The nursery will provide on-going training and can offer the successful candidate the chance to progress at a pace that suits them as they firmly believe in recruiting from within.

The nursery has a secure private garden and run the 'Busy Bees Goes Wild' learning programme which has been developed exclusively by the Wildlife Trust for Busy Bees. The nursery has recently been refurbished with state of the art facilities. The nursery was recently rated as 'Outstanding' by OFSTED.

Your responsibilities include:

* Being flexible on the locations you will work in.
* Being flexible on the start times of your shifts.
* Be able to cover various age ranges in the EYFS.
* Providing support to newly qualified Nursery Assistants and Apprentices.

You will need:

* A full and relevant Early Years qualification - Level 3 or above.
* An excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and the Ofsted inspection framework.
* A comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations.
* To be fully trained in safeguarding and paediatric first aid.
