Test Technician

Randstad Engineering are recruiting for a Test Technician to work for one of the leading Electronic business in the Uk who supply into the Defence industry.

Typical accountabilities

* Be flexible in performing other roles when asked, to support demand in capacity.
* Be able to follow Production Test Specifications (PTS) Production Engineering Documents (PEDs), to assist in test, build and repair of items.
* Perform sub-assembly testing and some basic repairs where required.
* Assist in other areas of Operation's e.g. assist in stores with packing and despatch or record maintenance.
* Responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget.
* Follows written work instructions and must maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures including those which govern the handling of materials, chemicals, tools and equipment.
* Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organisation.
