Pay Rate & Working Hours:

* Up to £28,000 PER YEAR (depending on experience)
* 37 hours PER WEEK - Monday to Friday
* Monday to Thursday: 09:00AM - 17:00PM, Friday: 09:00AM - 16:00PM


* To be responsible for creating high-quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on existing drawings and templates.
* You will also deliver CAD service requests for the business, producing ad-hoc drawings for various purposes, or creating controlled drawings as master records following construction or engineering works on the Factory.
* You will, alongside the Senior Engineer (Architectural), manage your own workload, be a self-starter, and co-ordinate the drawing records for the site.
* Use AutoCAD and SketchUp to create designs in 2D and 3D respectively
* Liaise with the Facilities Projects Team (and where required the wider business) to understand their requirements, and detail out CAD Service Requests
* Provide accurate, detailed and to scale drawings
* Ensure drawings are compliant with industry and health and safety standards and protocols
* Conduct surveys when required
* Present working drawings for use in all stages of any project, tender, manufacture/construction and installation (as may be required from time to time)
* Maintain accurate records


To be successful in this role you will have experience of working in the construction or manufacturing industries, applying your CAD expertise. In addition you will:

* Have good technical knowledge (Architectural and M&E) and be able to apply this in a practical way.
* Ability to communicate clearly in the English language; both verbally and in the production of good quality written documentation using MS Office applications (including MS Project).
* Ability to work accurately, flexibly and to integrate your work with other discipline areas, whilst working to tight programme constraints.
* Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology, Engineering, or CAD Design.
