Job Purpose

To support and assist the National Account Managers in the development of new business and maintaining high levels of service to existing accounts through all associated administration, reporting and correspondence.

Role and responsibilities:

Key Relationships:

* Customers
* Sales Executives
* Account Managers
* Management & Senior Management Team

Key Responsibilities:

* Use of excel
* Processing of a high volume of sales orders
* Liaise with customers and suppliers by telephone, fax and e-mail
* Ensure accurate placement of orders with manufacturers and suppliers
* Raising purchase orders
* Processing faulty returns
* Completing new line forms and attribute sheets
* Processing SOA claims and SOA credit reconciliation
* Interfacing with customer systems to manage orders/deliveries (Vendor Central and Kewill)
* Reporting of weekly stock and sales data
* Resolving internal and external enquiries
* Maintaining strong relationships with retail partners (planners/merchandisers
* Undertaking basic administration duties

Qualifications, Experience and Personal Qualities:

* MUST be competent on excel
* 2 + years Sales Support experience/ experience in a similar role
* Evidence of strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
* MUST have a strong eye for detail
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to motivate and encourage staff, to deal effectively with internal and external contacts ranging from executive to administrative levels, and to produce effective summaries and reports as required
