Planning Enforcement Officer

*£20-23* *North London*

Do you have some planning experience looking to gain more experience in enforcement? Our client are a local authority based in North London, who currently have a temporary opportunity to join their planning enforcement team, for an initial period of 3-6 months with he view to move onto a ongoing contract.

The client would consider both candidates with UK and non UK planning back grounds but knowledge of the UK planning system as well as experience of dealing with a large caseload applications is required for this role.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

Deal with complaints arising under planning legislation
Carry out site inspections as and when required
Deal with requests, complaints and enquires received by members of the public
Compile and update comprehensive computer based systems of enforcement records.
Attend appeals and court as and when required.

A planning qualification or enforcement experience is essential for this role
