Repairs Project Lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Repairs Project Lead based in a Local Authority in East London.

Post: Repairs Project Lead

Rate: Circa £390 - £400 a day

We are looking for an experienced Repairs Project Lead to bring a range of business analysis, project management and configuration skills to the role to ensure the delivery of business-specific solutions within agreed timescales and costs.

The main duties of the role are as followings;

* Design and implement new Repairs work programmes with existing contractors for communal repairs along with associated financial authorisation limit and security changes for users as required, and to ensure that methods to communicate work to contractors (via Business Objects reports or the BARIS interface) function correctly with the new work programmes.
* Implement new specialist repairs contract for stairlift repairs and maintenance.
* Design and implement a new post-inspection regime for all repairs contracts.
* To lead a multi-disciplinary project team, ensuring that project work is prioritised and delivered to meet project plan deadlines
* To document the development decisions and outputs to ensure that the delivered solution can be supported effectively in future.


* Have experience of leading Northgate Housing implementations and development work, with good working knowledge of the Repairs module and Business Objects in particular, experience of the BARIS interface, Task Manager and the development of DTIs/Communications Suite an advantage.
* Have experience of managing your own projects and be familiar with PRINCE2 project management disciplines and products.
* Have experience of managing project teams in a matrix-management environment, and engaging and motivating staff from business areas to deliver project objectives alongside their existing work commitments.
* Be a competent user of MS Office products including MS Project and MS Visio and be able to prepare high quality documentation for diverse audiences.
