Exciting opportunity for a Managing Building Surveyor to join an expanding Building Surveying team based in Nottingham!!!

A leading consultancy is seeking a Managing Building Surveyor with a detailed knowledge of working within the Building Surveying and Consultancy Services market, predominantly within the public sector. If you have experience of leading full consultancy teams and acting in a lead role on behalf of the client, then this job is for you!

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of major schemes which would be a fantastic addition to your CV.

Responsibilities:

* Manage BS Service delivery to existing and new clients
* Deliver professional services which exceed client expectations
* Manage a team of staff ranging from Trainees to Senior Building Surveyors
* Engender a team spirit that encourages delivery excellence and provide mentoring and support for each team member to realise their full potential
* Total Project and Team ownership
* Co-ordinate and work with the wider business
* Develop new business and repeat business from existing clients
* Cross sell new services to existing clients
* Retain and own close contact with client individuals

Requirements:

* Detailed knowledge of working within the Building Surveying and Consultancy Services market, predominantly within the public sector
* Management experience of successful project delivery from inception to handover
* Ability to manage and develop a team
* Experience of client management and development
* Ability to deal with Clients and/or the business at a senior level
* Be innovative and proactive
* Ability to solve problems
* Attend sector led events locally and nationally to promote the business
* Ideally, have a Driving Licence or a level of mobility
