Role: Reconciliations Analyst

Location: Glasgow G2

Salary: £20,000 - £22,000

Looking for a new opportunity to be part of one of the UK's biggest outsourcing and professional services?

I have a fantastic new position for a Reconciliations Analyst to join the Glasgow office.

What you will do:

* Resolve complex and technical queries/problems arising, exercise judgement in the provision of advice and assistance to internal and external customers, interpret differing transactions and offer alternative solutions to problems/opportunities presented.
* Take day to day operational decisions on technical matters, (e.g. loan applications, credit control issues etc), only referring those decisions requiring higher authority.
* Prove the correctness of the Client's records by completion of complex reconciliations, investigating and clearing any issues arising.
* Produce analyses and prepare management information for use by Senior Management, both inside and outside Client Accounting.
* Ensure that documents and transactions are correctly authorised, complete and accurate.
* Take responsibility for and control information and payments for dispatch to internal/external customers in the more technical and sensitive areas.

Your experience will include:

* Numerate, accurate and analytical with the ability to work under pressure to demanding deadlines.
* Relevant technical knowledge and detailed relevant specialist knowledge of processes, systems and Company/Statutory requirements, together with a good awareness of financial control and of the contribution the Section can make to the success of the Company.
* Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to third parties.
* Systems skills including using current systems/programs, making minor changes to programs and/or building basic new programs.
* Good organisational and basic man management skills.
