Do you want to open a new home for young people with disabilities?

Come and join a specialist organisation whose vision is to make a difference to young people's lives. A new residential service is about to open and will be providing care and support for young people with learning disabilities. Your responsibility as the Registered Manager will be to oversee the successful opening and running of this provision, alongside another well-established service local to the area. What are your responsibilities?

* Leading and managing the home
* Contributing to the assessment, referral and admissions process
* Ensuring all staff are adequately trained, inducted and supervised in line with OFSTED regulations
* Developing strategies to increase community presence and awareness
* Fulfilling obligations set out in the quality care standards
* Building a culture of team cohesion
* Promoting equal opportunities
* Maintaining an environment which enhances the safeguarding of young people

What is required?

* NVQ Level 5 or studying towards
* 2 years' experience as a Registered Manager including inspection reports under your name
* Availability to interview 9th April - although we can factor notice period in as we don't open until later this year
