Are you a Site Engineer? Looking for a permanent role? Interested in a new position?

Randstad are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer to work on a permanent basis, on a project in Bridgwater, for the client. This role will be ideal for someone living locally.

The role;

- Follow the company procedures and statutory regulations relating to environmental and waste management issues.

- Check dimension design data early, raising technical queries to eliminate delays from insufficient information.

- Carry out quality control checks using internal check sheets where appropriate.

- Apply the company and external technical information to help achieve the specified quality requirements.

- Adopt and promotes a culture of "right first time".

- Marks up drawings & specifications with any changes referencing the documentation that verifies the change.

- Produces sketches and drawings to clarify methods and construction sequences.

- Interrogate design information and determine if there are sufficient details to construct the works.

- Preparation of basic calculations/drawings/sketches.

The ideal candidate;

- Have a relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience as a Site Engineer.

- Have accreditation e.g. TMICE, IEng MICE; desirable.

- At least 5 years as a Site Engineer.
