I have an amazing job opportunity not to be dismissed!

I am recruiting for a wonderful service that specialises in brightening lives, catering for children and young people with disabilities and/or special educational needs. This award-winning residential school accommodates for children between 9-13 years, providing education and 24/7 residential support.

The service is seeking a highly professional support worker with a passion for working with SEN individuals. Our purpose-designed residential unit specialises in ASD support, providing effective relief in accordance with the national autistic society.

All applicants must have the ability to build rapport with service users, be enthusiastic and highly understanding and tolerant towards individuals with low-high levels of ASD. While experience and knowledge of ASD is desirable, all relevant training will be provided alongside daily support systems.

Responsibilities
* Develop a person-centred working relationship with clients
* Help service-users to identify their skills during workshops while promoting independence and safety
* Take account of the choices, needs and wishes of each client by actively listening to them
* Maintain confidentiality
* Safeguard all residents
* Adhere to the company's policies and procedures
* Support service-users in socialisation and communication, encouraging a healthy imagination

Requirements
* Be willing to work flexibly across a seven day week
* Be willing to perform personal care duties

Benefits
* An immediate start
* A 3-week rolling rota
* The opportunity to undertake additional responsibilities and increase your pay package

We are open to hearing from candidates with various levels of experience, so long as they have a passion for working with young people. Please do not hesitate to contact Naisha Grant on (0161) 2453633 if you have any queries.
