Hours of Work and Pay Rate:

* £12.90 - £16.63 PER HOUR Negotiable dependent on experience
* Fixed Term Contract until March 2020

* 3 shift rotation, Monday - Friday

* Lates:14:00PM-22:00PM
* Earlies: 06:00AM-14:00PM
* Nights: 22:00PM-06:00AM


Process technician is responsible for ensuring all the equipment within their allocated area is set up and running in accordance with setting sheets and defined process parameters. First line problem solver when process is running out of specification in terms of product quality or process output/performance. Responsible for defined routine maintenance tasks under TPM in conjunction with Maintenance engineering. Implementing process improvements through the Kaizen process. Using technical knowledge to support improvement projects, trials and NPI activities.

* Sets, operates, re-sets, and adjusts machines in more than 10 workstations.
* Supports Maintenance Engineering to carry out curative and preventive maintenance
* Process improvement through Kaizen
* Creation and Maintenance of process related standard work
* Coaching and training operators in TPM deployment
* Data capture for process capability study (SPC etc.)
* Supports Process Engineer in development of process standard work documents.


* Ability and experience to analyse all malfunctions that occur within own special field, reasons where the cause of the malfunction lies in the process and remedies it.
* Ability and experience to assist in remedying complex malfunctions.
* Problem-solving capability.
* Expertise/technical knowledge (ISBM, Thermoplastics, LSR moulding, printing)
* Desired - HNC/HND In engineering/ technical
