Infrastructure engineer

This is a great opportunity for a driven infrastructure engineer to join a leading software business based in the Stoke area. They create bespoke SaaS platforms that allows organisations to improve their efficiency and optimise their most valuable assets. Their platforms are delivered to organisations across the globe and they are currently operating out of 11 countries.

In this position you will be responsible for managing and developing the cloud infrastructure. You will also be working with other teams in the business to develop an effective and scalable framework for the implementation of their SaaS platform.

40% of your time will be working on different projects that are coming up over the next 12 months, working with technologies such as Windows Server, VMware, AWS etc.

Essential skills

* Windows server management/support experience
* Networking experience
* Have worked in a Microsoft technologies environment
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong attention to detail

Desirable skills

* AWS, Azure
* Knowledge of virtualisation technologies (VMware)
* SQL Server
* Have previously worked in an Agile environment
