Are you an experienced support worker looking to showcase your skills with a market leading specialist care provider? Look no further ...

I am recruiting for a support worker to join an astonishing company that specialises in residential care homes and schools. This role would entail caring and catering for children and young people with social, emotional and mental health problems, autism and specific learning difficulties.

Delivering a national curriculum education will be a priority, alongside the provision of therapeutic activities. These homes are situated in the countryside to encourage engagement with nature: the service users also have the luxury of on-site activities such as swimming lessons, gym sessions and outdoor sports. A key part of the job will involve enabling the service users to learn and explore through physical activity.

As well as being an independent provider of SEMH, residential schools and children homes across England, this company puts a lot of effort into finding professionals who have the creativity and enthusiasm required to help deliver the best outcomes for our service users. As a company representative, the successful candidate will undergo a comprehensive induction programme and ongoing training to ensure they are provided with the correct support and tools to fulfil the job role.

Responsibilities and requirements:
* Providing levels of care and support appropriate to the general needs of the children as outlined in their care plans
* Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children in accordance with safeguarding and child protection
* Establishing warm, caring and professional relationships with the children in your care
* Providing organised and structured recreational clubs and activities for children's development
* Offering appropriate levels of support, guidance and care to the service users
* Providing or contributing to reports and reviews relating to individual children or groups of children

Benefits
* Regular in-house training
* The opportunity to attend a variety of enriching activities with the service users
* The opportunity to undertake additional responsibilities to increase your pay package
* A competitive salary
* Free access to leisure facilities on site, including a pool and a gym
* A generous 'refer a friend' bonus scheme

We are welcoming all candidates from various backgrounds with multiple professional qualities. The most important qualification from our point of view is that you are passionate about working with young people who have faced particular challenges within their lives. If this is you then please do not hesitate to contact Naisha Grant on (0161) 2453633.
