I am recruiting on behalf of a well respected consultancy who have a network of offices globally. Due to continued growth my client are keen to appoint a Quantity Surveyor for their thriving T/wells based team. As part of a nationwide team delivering high profile projects ranging in value up to £50m+ you will gain exposure to a mix of new build and refurbs schemes of education facilities and public assets including leisure centres, care facilities, and residential and commercial developments.

Examples of current projects we are working include:

* An £85 mixed used urban regeneration scheme in Brighton.
* A residential programme in Croydon delivering over 30 mixed-tenure schemes each ranging between £1m and £30m.
* Grade II listed leisure centre and outdoor pools within the London Boroughs
* A new £20m Leisure Centre in Dover
* New £20m Secondary School in greater London
* Three hospice projects ranging from £15m to £20m in Essex, Kent and West Sussex

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work in a growing, dynamic and sociable team and make an impact.
We are looking for a collaborative and sharp minded quantity surveyor who can:

* Lead and provide effective delivery of Quantity Surveying services across a range of project types
* Either lead or support other team members on complex multi-faceted projects

Ideally you will have:

* A relevant construction qualification and/or working towards professional membership of recognised institutions ie. CIOB or RICS
* Experience of both pre-and post-contract quantity surveying responsibilities, and be able to deliver this service effectively to Clients
* Experience within one or more sectors including Education, Commercial, Residential, Heritage, and Care
* The ability to manage a project throughout its lifecycle
* A good knowledge of current construction contracts such as NEC and JCT
