Fabric Engineer - City of London (Fenchurch Street) - Perm - £27,000 + Overtime

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated in the City of London (Fenchurch Street). The successful candidate will be mechanically qualified with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. He or she will be required to work as a static Handyperson/Fabric engineer covering (M&E / Fabric) planned and reactive maintenance in the iconic building located in London.

You will be working in one of London's most iconic buildings within a team of other engineers from mechanical, electrical and plumbers. The ideal candidate would come from a Hotel background or recently just finished an apprenticeship.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of the below duties;

* Fabric Duties
* Plumbing, unblocking toilets, washers, taps
* Carpentry duties
* Painting and decorating

You may be asked to help and get invovled with other engineers dealing with the below;

* Lighting - Lamp changes, ballast changes
* Emergency light testing
* Electrical Fault finding
* Small works - new sockets, lights
* Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing
* AHUs/FCUs - filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans
* Pumps - PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)

You may also be require to get involved in the plumbing side of things from blocking toilets, unblocking stacks, along with dealing with washer and taps etc.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday

07:00am to 16:00pm / 09:00am to 18:00pm

Overtime is also available.
