Are you an experienced Home Manager with a driven attitude? Are you motivated to lead a team to deliver the highest quality of care? Do have experience setting up a new nursing service? A new specialist care home in Leeds needs you!

This is a new service offering care to 30 younger adults across three small, manageable units. This service specialises in care to service users with; mental ill health and dementia.

You'll be supporting the company with their future growth plans and given the autonomy to implement your design and recruit your own team to put your own stamp on creating an outstanding service.

As the Registered Manager, you will be accountable for the day to day running and leadership of the home. It is your responsibility to ensure service users receive the highest quality of care, living by the Exemplar values of making every day better than the last. You will pro-actively coach your team and will be dedicated to driving CQC standards to ensure quality. You will also work closely with the Operations Manager in driving key business objectives.

Responsibilities

* Identifying new business opportunities
* Managing budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and that the home is profitable
* Ensuring compliance with regulations
* Working with regulatory bodies and local placing authorities
* Conducting pre-admission assessments and completing costings for prospective admissions
* Creating and developing strong relationships - internal and external
* Leading and motivating your team
* Dealing with recruitment, employee relations and other people related issues
* Facilitating and co-ordinating staff training and development, conducting appraisals and supervisions

Requirements

* Experience successfully commissioning a new service
* Active NMC pin is desirable but not essential
* Previously registered with the CQC as a manager and a knowledge of the guidelines
