Role Summary:


The Product Specialist will be a subject matter expert in HealthRoster / Optima rostering products. The role will work closely with the Group Product Manager of Rostering, to help inform and guide the future direction of the flagship product, ensuring that customers are delighted and the product grows its commercial success.

The Product Specialist role will collaborate with customers, prospects and across multiple teams which requires excellent communication and relationship building skills.

Responsibilities:


* Assist the Group Product Manager in executing the strategy for the rostering products
* Share their skills and expertise on rostering - training and guiding others in the business with their real world experience
* Support product development activities such as requirements gathering and prioritisation
* Assist in new product introduction and release activities
* Support the marketing team in developing sales and marketing strategies
* Recommend product enhancements and updates through own knowledge and customer research and feedback
* Support testing activities for new product releases and enhancements
* Maintain documentation for all product related activities

Skills, Experience & Knowledge:


* Subject matter expert in rostering products. In depth knowledge of HealthRoster/Optima/SafeCare is required, knowledge of Activity Manager and other rostering products is beneficial.
* Experience in knowledge sharing and training in software applications
* Creative problem solving skills, able to digest complex problems and find workable solutions.
* Good Microsoft Office skills (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
* Communicate well and able to deal with a broad range of people
* You will be able to work as part of a team but can work using your own initiative
* Be flexible and adaptable
