Are you a Manual Machinist who has experience with new product development, are you looking for a exciting new career we are looking for individuals just like you!

This role is primarily to, build and test prototypes and pre-production units to engineering and industry specifications, as well as offering technical support of R&D efforts in evaluating product.

The successful candidate will be skilled in using test equipment, soldering irons and various hand tools.


* Basic Salary £33k

Responsibilities include:

* Assemble and test prototypes and pre-production units. Test and check devices to specifications troubleshoot issues
* Troubleshoot and diagnose adversely affected business processes, seek out process errors and advise appropriate solutions in order to minimize business operations impact
* Offer consulting for technical solutions that deviate from established and documented business protocols
* Determination of fixtures, machines, tooling, and sequence of operations to fabricate parts, dies, and tooling, according to designs, drawings and sketches
* Inspect and test model or other product to verify conformance to specifications
* Consult and confers with cross functional team members to discuss developmental problems and recommend modifications to correct or improve performance of product

Experience, qualifications and skills:

* Set up and operation of standard machines (lathes, drill presses, band saws, end-mills) to fabricate prototypes or models
* Must have knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, benefits, repair, and maintenance
* Act on behalf of R&D in stakeholder planning of business process cross functional teams that optimize the business system within other supporting processes PLM, CRM, NPDI
