Are you a QS in the civils sector? Are you based within daily travel of Leeds? Are you looking for a freelance contract that is months instead of weeks?

The successful applicant will be part of the busy commercial team, reporting to the commercial manager to assist with a flood alleviation contract. The ideal candidate will have a lot of civils and utilites experience and be willing to work within the team.

The following duties will potentially be performed:

* Claims management from the client and subcontractors
* Writing procurement reports
* Estimating and cost planning activities
* Assisting with the procurement process, ensuring that all stages including pre- qualification, enquiry, analysis, selection and contract preparation are performed effectively
* Cost checking and valuation work
* Production of monthly post-contract cost reports
* Negotiation and agreement of final accounts
