In this role you will be working as part of a successful business to business sales team focusing on building new business relationships. You will be responsible for generating your own leads, developing a number of potential prospect to ensure those new business wins. With a database currently in place, you will also have access to lapsed accounts and the opportunity of selling to existing clients to further maximise revenue.

Please note this is an office based role.

With such a a large potential customers base you have a huge market to which you can operate with and succeed within the organisation operate in verticals such as Industrial and Construction sectors so there is plenty of scope to become successful within this role.


* Basic salary £21,000 - £23,000 Per Annum

Location: Smethwick


* To ensure that budgeted sales and margin levels are achieved.
* Building new business relationships.
* Making a high volume of outbound calls to generate business with prospect customers.
* Generating own leads as well as contacting non spends and lapsed etc
* Developing existing customers to maximise revenue.
* Interpreting customer's requirements and presenting them with a solution.


* Accountable for new business acquisition and growth sales
* To research and develop new potential accounts in strategically defined market sectors, for the full product range, in order to exceed the annual sales budget.
* Maintaining and building "lasting relationships" with customers
* Work to agreed KPI's and targets
* Ensure a high level of customer service is achieved.
* Ensure that appropriate level of technical product knowledge is maintained.
* Seek opportunity to broaden the customer base and routes to market.
* Help to provide any information required for monthly sales reports to analyse and evaluate overall area performance, market dynamics, sector development and key account activity.
* Following up and feeding back on leads from tele sales
* Being knowledgeable about products and services offered by the business


* Proven ability to generate leads and business development
* Must possess the ability to manage internal relationships and represent both a consultative and proactive approach to Business Development and Account Management
* Experience of B2B Sales in the industrial, construction or related sectors.
* A logical thinker with an innovative though process capable of maximising revenue streams and managing the delivery of a first class service.
* The ability to develop strong working relationships across all areas of the business.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Possess a professional manner.
