Sensational new opportunity for a Senior Civils Cost Consultant to join a growing Cost Management Business Unit based in Belfast!!!

A leading consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a specific growth demand within the Infrastructure sector, where they have successfully secured positions with many high profile clients and some key local projects and programs in the industry. You will be part of an exciting new team to successfully manage and deliver various capital projects across Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and the wider global network.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of major schemes which would be a fantastic addition to your CV.

Responsibilities:

* The role will cover the whole project lifecycle from initial inception / business case through to completion / commissioning
* The role will include all aspects of cost control / audit procedures, preparation estimates & tender documentation through the feasibility, design and procurement processes and onto the site delivery / commissioning phase
* You should possess the skills and experience to actively support the internal team and manage more junior staff
* You will help develop collaborative relationships with our clients and other professional colleagues within the industry
* Day to day client point of contact for projects
* Successful delivery of projects, leading to further repeat clients and their business
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are key
* Ability to develop long term relationships with all team members, and effectively balance people and processes
* Understands and can demonstrate the importance of Client focus
* Experience of delivering technically complex projects in the Sectors highlighted above from inception to completion. Cost Management experience in the Water Sector would be a specific requirement
* Good understanding of project Governance and procurement processes

Requirements:

* You will have a Degree or another relevant qualification
* Have a good understanding of NEC contracts
* Preferably, you should have experience of working in a consultancy environment, or within a client organisation
* Ideally, you will have a clean driving licence
* Ideally, you will be chartered
